TOPEX CDF is an equipment designed to direct the joint traffic, providing to railway agents the means to achieve any type of operative, bilateral connection that the personnel requires. TOPEX CDF is a variant of digital switch that fulfills the requirements of dispatch centers with a small to average number of voice channels. The system features a modular structure, regarding the equipping of the central switch with interfaces as well as the operating positions (workstations). TOPEX CDF has been designed with a "star" form structure : the kernel, central switching equipment, is connected directly to each Dispatcher Console.
