Lottery companies in Eastern Europe use X.25 protocol for their data transmisssion.the lottery machines that read the lottery ticket send the data over asynchronous serial connection. Topex Bytton recieves the data, encapulates it in X.25 packets and sends it over TCP/IP over the GPRS network. At the other end a Cisco switch recieved the XOT data(X.25 over TCP/IP ) and sends it to the server.
